World Series Tied 1-1, Headed to Pawtucket

The two best teams in the majors have played a pair of games in Kansas City and each team is walking away with one victory. Now the series shifts to Pawtucket, where the Polythene are only 4-3 in these playoffs. On the flip side, Kansas City has seen minimal competion on the road during the playoffs.

In Game 1, Pawtucket was able to come away victorious thanks to a terrific game on the mound by Chris Ramirez (CG, 3H, 3R, 5K) and a ninth inning homer by Victor Martin. Game 2 was dominated by a former Pawtucket farmhand as well. However, Rob Aldridge (CG, 5H, 0R, 4K) was on the other side of the competition, throwing for Kansas City in dominating fashion.

With 3 games in Pawtucket, there is little chance this series will not be moving back to Kansas City for the final games.
